So I am in class...

and yes, i'm bored! but thats not what i'm going to chat about today.

if you have read my last blog,
then you know that i have had an interest to see the dance group
pilobolus.

i saw them.

my mom bought me tickets for my birthday.
the concert was really great!
it was different from most kinds of dance groups.
all of the choreography
originates from improv sessions...
and more than dancers,
the memebers are really
gymnasts...
they are very very strong and can do amazing things.

i highly recommend that if you ever
have a chance to see them perform,
you do.

it was really great and i am so happy
i was able to see them...
thanks mom!

I have to go.

I have to go to this:
Pilobolus.

Maybe it's my dance background,
maybe it's human nature to want to see the
unusual and slightly weird,
or maybe it's just simply astounding.

You tell me.

Bummed!

This is the first year that I will not be
able to go with my family on their yearly escapade
to Balboa Island, CA.

I am bummed!

It has been a tradition in our family for as long as I can remember....
all I can do is tell my sisters to eat an extra
Balboa Bar for me and take lots and lots of pictures.

Until next year...

Hi everyone! So basically we have disappeared this summer...
a possible explanation is that the company Jason was going to intern with cut his internship about a week before he was going to start and now we've had to burn rubber working to make a summer income!...
another explanation is that we were just plain old sad that it didn't work out...
and yet another explanation is that we have been spending a ton of time with our families...
but whatever the reason, we're back!
So this post is basically going to be pictures taken over the summer, to show you that we have had a lot of fun too! I'll try to put them in order, but you never know... :)

This the Father's Day present to my Dad from:
Me, Jason, Caroline, Thomas,
Sarah, Rebecca, and William.
There is a fish from everyone on it...
it is for his cabin in Alaska!

I Love Lizzy

I just wanted to write a blog saying how much I appreciate and love Lizzy. I never write a blog so I hope this breakthrough shows her how much I care about her. She is the most sweet and thoughtful girl I have ever known. I love all the little things she does such as cooking a special meal, leaving me a surprise note, and every other little thing she does that makes me feel so great.

She is also very bright and smart. I love talking with her. Every conversation feels meaningful and I can always count on learning something new when talking to her.

She is also gorgeous. I'm going to the gym every day just so I can feel like I deserve her (...just ten more pounds to go).

So in short, I love Lizzy to death and I hope she feels like the most loved princess in the world.

Love,
Jason

Graduation!!

YAH!!
I am officially graduated.
I am so excited to be done, finally.

Jason is the best husband ever.
For my graduation present he planned a weekend getaway
to the Blue Boar Inn, in Midway, Utah.
It was was so romantic and just so much fun!!
We left on Friday afternoon and didn't get home until Sunday evening. It was such
a nice break from Provo and school and work!

The Blue Boar Inn
It feels like a miniature Swiss-German castle!

Notice the boar...

Our room for the first night was especially romantic and cozy.
It was called the Robert Frost room,
and was decorated for him, with a natural, woodsy atmosphere.
There was a fireplace, game table, and layers of down comforters (my favorite!)
Upon arriving, we were greeted with crackers and cheeses and bottled water.
The first evening we had such a blast!
We went to Schneitters Restaurant at the Zermatt Resort for dinner.
We had salads, seafood, and all sort of delicious desserts.
We highly recommend it!

The night was really rainy, so after dinner we stayed in and played
games in our room and ordered hot chocolate.
We snuggled and watched a James Bond with the
fire crackling and the rain pelting in the background... it was so fun!!

The next morning we woke to beautiful Midway
and went to the dining room for breakfast,
as we were at a bed and breakfast...we were in for a surprise!
The breakfasts we had there were probably the best we have ever had!
Jason ordered the Grilled Salmon with Asparagus and Spring Potatoes,
while I had the Mountain Berry Griddle Cakes with Maple Sausage.
Amazing, that is all there is to say!

After breakfast we decided to head to Park City for a little shopping...
Here is what our drive was like:

Even though our PC adventure was rainy, it was probably more fun
than a sunny day would have been :)

We made it home with some treasures from the
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory...

We came home to have another relaxing evening just
hanging out and enjoying each other's company.
We had fun in some of the Inn's beautiful rooms:

The second night we switched room and stayed in the
Jane Austen room. It was also a very beautiful room, and had
great views of the mountains.

Our last evening we went on a walk on the golf course,
which was right next to the Inn.
After our walk we took some pics of the Inn at nighttime
because it was so beautiful:

We read some of Angles & Demons, our current read,
and borrowed two more movies to watch that night. It was a
very relaxing time.

In the morning, again, we were greeted by the day with an
unbelievable Sunday brunch.
It was a five course meal, which of course, was delicious.

First Course~ Pastries
Second Course~ Fruit & Melon Martini, in Sparkling Pear Juice (non-alcoholic, lol)
Third Course~ Crepe with Mountain Berry Jam
Fourth Course~ Jason: Steak, Eggs, Potatoes, Vegetables
Lizzy: Eggs Benedict, Potatoes, Asparagus
Fifth Course~ Lemon Scone with Berries and Whipped Cream

Yes, I know, it was quite the meal!
But better than that it was just fun to spend time alone with Jason
and have fun and relax.

We had such a good time together,
we can't wait for our next little vacation, just the two of us:)

I love you babe!
