I just wanted to write a blog saying how much I appreciate and love Lizzy. I never write a blog so I hope this breakthrough shows her how much I care about her. She is the most sweet and thoughtful girl I have ever known. I love all the little things she does such as cooking a special meal, leaving me a surprise note, and every other little thing she does that makes me feel so great.
She is also very bright and smart. I love talking with her. Every conversation feels meaningful and I can always count on learning something new when talking to her.
She is also gorgeous. I'm going to the gym every day just so I can feel like I deserve her (...just ten more pounds to go).
So in short, I love Lizzy to death and I hope she feels like the most loved princess in the world.
Love,
Jason

Graduation!!
YAH!!
I am officially graduated.
I am so excited to be done, finally.
Jason is the best husband ever.
For my graduation present he planned a weekend getaway
to the Blue Boar Inn, in Midway, Utah.
It was was so romantic and just so much fun!!
We left on Friday afternoon and didn't get home until Sunday evening. It was such
a nice break from Provo and school and work!
The Blue Boar Inn
It feels like a miniature Swiss-German castle!

Notice the boar...

Our room for the first night was especially romantic and cozy.
It was called the Robert Frost room,
and was decorated for him, with a natural, woodsy atmosphere.
There was a fireplace, game table, and layers of down comforters (my favorite!)
Upon arriving, we were greeted with crackers and cheeses and bottled water.
The first evening we had such a blast!
We went to Schneitters Restaurant at the Zermatt Resort for dinner.
We had salads, seafood, and all sort of delicious desserts.
We highly recommend it!
The night was really rainy, so after dinner we stayed in and played
games in our room and ordered hot chocolate.
We snuggled and watched a James Bond with the
fire crackling and the rain pelting in the background... it was so fun!!

The next morning we woke to beautiful Midway
and went to the dining room for breakfast,
as we were at a bed and breakfast...we were in for a surprise!
The breakfasts we had there were probably the best we have ever had!
Jason ordered the Grilled Salmon with Asparagus and Spring Potatoes,
while I had the Mountain Berry Griddle Cakes with Maple Sausage.
Amazing, that is all there is to say!

After breakfast we decided to head to Park City for a little shopping...
Here is what our drive was like:

Even though our PC adventure was rainy, it was probably more fun
than a sunny day would have been :)

We made it home with some treasures from the
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory...

We came home to have another relaxing evening just
hanging out and enjoying each other's company.
We had fun in some of the Inn's beautiful rooms:

The second night we switched room and stayed in the
Jane Austen room. It was also a very beautiful room, and had
great views of the mountains.

Our last evening we went on a walk on the golf course,
which was right next to the Inn.
After our walk we took some pics of the Inn at nighttime
because it was so beautiful:

We read some of Angles & Demons, our current read,
and borrowed two more movies to watch that night. It was a
very relaxing time.
In the morning, again, we were greeted by the day with an
unbelievable Sunday brunch.
It was a five course meal, which of course, was delicious.
First Course~ Pastries
Second Course~ Fruit & Melon Martini, in Sparkling Pear Juice (non-alcoholic, lol)
Third Course~ Crepe with Mountain Berry Jam
Fourth Course~ Jason: Steak, Eggs, Potatoes, Vegetables
Lizzy: Eggs Benedict, Potatoes, Asparagus
Fifth Course~ Lemon Scone with Berries and Whipped Cream
Yes, I know, it was quite the meal!
But better than that it was just fun to spend time alone with Jason
and have fun and relax.

We had such a good time together,
we can't wait for our next little vacation, just the two of us:)
I love you babe!

New Member of the Fam...
We have a
new addition to our little family!

It is such a relief to have all the little comforts
we didn't have with our van. Air conditioning for one, not to mention
seat warmers, a cd player, a sun roof, and black leather seats....

WE ARE SO EXCITED!!
Not only for its features, but also bc it is our first
big investment together.
We have yet to name our new car-
I think it looks like a mafia car, so I like the name Capone
(as in Al Capone)
but I have yet to sell Jace on that idea. I know we'll settle on a good one though :)

Braised Pork Shanks, Chicken Piccata, and Polenta Please!
Last weekend was so fun!
Jason and I went our separate ways on Friday and Saturday,
spending time with our friends. Friday night was so much fun! I went with my sisters to an Italian cooking class, offered through Sur La Table.
We all love to cook (thanks to our mom's talent), and were so excited to enhance our skills.
It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it!
I learned so much- from homemade pizza to homemade noodles,
the class thoroughly taught the basics of Italian cooking.
And it was so easy! I have already made the pizza recipe twice this week
and Jason loves it. He likes to help me make and knead the dough especially.
So for your enjoyment, here are a few pics of the culinary tour:

Saturday evening was exciting... Jason and I
went to look at new cars!
We are planning on adding a new addition to our family soon,
and the Honda Accord is looking pretty good.
We found one that is black, has dark tinted windows,
and black leather interior...
we are hoping that will be the one!
I will keep you updated on this exciting news :)

We love Jazz.
oh, how we love them.
last week was yet another affirmation of the strength of the utah jazz. yes, it is true- the jazz won the best in the east and the best in the west, and they are well on their way to winning much more! my personal favorite player is deron williams. he is such a stud. jasons favorite is the moneyman mehmet okur. i like that he likes him, as they resemble each other to me. it has become quite the tradition in our little family to watch their games. i even have a pink williams jersey lol. in ode to our favorites, here they are:

we are currently in 4th position in the rankings on an 11-game winning steak....
